HAve morcy upon me, O God. according to thy loving kindnesse, according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
AFter thy loving kindnesse, Lord, have mercy me upon:
After thy tender mercies great blot out my sins each on.
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquitie, and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.
2 Me cleanse from sin and throughly wash from mine iniquity.
3 For still my sin is me before my faults acknowledge I.
4 Against thee, thee only have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest,
4 'Gainst thee, thēe only have I sinn'd, this evill was by me
Done in thy sight, that when thou speak'st thou justifi'd mightst be,
And be clear when thou judgest.
5 Behold. I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.
And be made clear when thou dost judge; 5 Lo in iniquitie
I shapen was, my mother als in sin conceived me.
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdome.
6 Behold within the inward parts the truth desirest thou.
And in the hidden part thou shalt me wisdome make to know.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter then snow.
7 Do thou me with the hyssop purge, I shall be cleansed so:
Do thou me wash and then I shall be whiter then the snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladnesse, that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
8 Of joy and gladnes do thou make me for to hear the voice,
That so those bones of mine which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God: and re…ew a right spirit within me.
9 All mine iniquities blot out, thy face hide from my sin.
10 Creat a clean heart, Lord renew a right sprit me within.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence, and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, and uphold me with thy free spirit.
11 Cast me not from thy face, nor take thy holy Sprit from me:
12 Restore me thy salvations joy, uphold with thy Sprit free.

13 Then will I teach thy wayes unto such as transgressours be;
And they that sinners are then shall converted be to thee.
14 Deliver me from blood guiltinesse, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousnesse.
14 O God of my salvation God do from blood guiltinesse
Me save; then shall my tongue aloud sing of thy righteousnesse.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips, and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
15 Those lips of mine by thee, O Lord, let them now opned be,
And then my mouth it shall shew forth the praise that's due to thee.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice, else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
16 For thou desir'st not sacrifice, else would I give it right;
Likewise thou in burnt offering hast not at all delight.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
17 Of God the sacrifices are a broken sprit alwayes,
A broken and a contrite heart, Lord, thou wilt not despise.
18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Sion: build thou the wals of Ierusalem.
18 In thy good pleasure do thou good unto thy Sion now,
And of Jerusalem the walls again build up do thou.
19. Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousnesse, with burnt-offering, and whole burnt-offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
19 Right sacrifices, offrings burnt with whole burnt offrings all,
Then shall thee please; thine altars on they bullocks offer shall.
PSAL. LII.
WHy boastest thou thy self in mischief, O mighty man? the goodnes of God endureth continually.
O Mighty man, why dost thou boast in mischief wickedly?
The goodnesse of the Lord it doth endure continually.
2 Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs: like a rasour working deceitfully.
2 Thy tongue that wicked is, mischiefs deviseth craftily,
Ev'n like unto a rasour sharp, working deceitfully.
3 Thou lovest evill more then good: and lying rather then to speak righteousnesse. Selah.
3 Thou evill surely more dost love then good, which thou shouldst seek,
And lying rather dost approve then righteousnesse to speak. Selah.
4 Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitfull tongue.
5 God shall likewise destroy thee for ever,
4 Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitfull tongue;
5 God shall likewise for ever thee destroy from men among.
He shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
He shall thee take away, and thee pluck from thy dwelling place;
And from the land of living shall thee root out with disgrace.
6 The righteous also shall see and fear, and shall laugh at him.
7 Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength:
6 The righteous als shall see and fear, and at him laugh they shall:
7 Lo, this the man is that did not make God his strength at all.
But trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthed himself in his wickednesse.
But in the great abundance of his richesse trusted he,
And he in his own wickednesse himself made strong to be.
8 But I am like a green olive-tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
8 But I am in the house of God like a green olive tree;
For ever and for ay my trust shall in Gods merciemercy bee.
9 I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy Name, for it is good before thy saints.
9 Because that thou thus hast it done I'le praise thee evermore,
And on thy name I'le wait, for it is good thy saints before.
PSAL. LIII.
THe fool hath said in his heart, There is no God: corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doth good.
THe fool in's heart said there's no God, corrupt they all have done

2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand; that did seek God.
2 God looked down from heay'n upon mens children, for to see
If any understood, that would of God a seeker be.
3 Every one of them is gone back, they are altogether become filthy: there is none that doth good, no not one.
3 They altogether filthy are, each of them back is gone:
Yea of them truely none there is that good doth, no not one.
4 Have the workers of iniquitie no knowledge▪ who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
4 The workers of iniquity have they no knowledge all?
Who eat my people up as bread: on God they do not call.
5 There were they in great fear, where no feat was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee,
5 In that place were they in great fear where no feat seem'd to be,
For God his bones hath scattered that encampeth against thee.
Thoulhast put them to sh…me, because Go hath despised them.
6 O that the salvation of Israel were come out of Sion!
Because God hath despised them, thou them to shame hast put:
6 O that Isra'ls salvation of Sion were come out.
When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Iacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
When God shall back the bondage bring of his own people sad,
Then Jacob greatly shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glade.

7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
7 For he hath me delivered out of all miseries,
And his desire mine eye hath seen upon mine enemies.
