And that him ever conſtantly

with all their heart do ſeek.

verse 3 They als do no iniquitie

then walk ſtill in his wayes:

verse 4 Thou haſt commanded us to keep

thy precepts well alwayes.

verse 5 O that my ways were ſet to keep

the ſtatutes given by thee;

verse 6 When I thy precepts all reſpect,

I not aſham'd ſhall be.

verse 7 With uprightneſſe of heart I will

thee praiſe when well I ſhall

Have learned for to underſtand

thy righteous judgements all.

verse 8 With care I will thy ſtatutes keep;

O for thy mercies ſake

Not utterly, O Lord, in wrath

me thy ſervant forſake.

BETH.

verse 9 Wherewith all ſhal a young man heer

his way well cleanſe indeed?

Even ſtill according to thy word

by thereto taking head.

verse 10 I with my whole heart carefu…

have ſought thee ev'ry way,

O from thy precepts let me not

now wander far away.

verse 11 Thy word I have hid in my h…

leſt 'gainſt thee I ſhould ſin:

verse 12 O Lord, thou bleſſed art; m…

thy ſtatutes well within.

verse 13 I with my lips unfained have

declared thankfullie

Thy judgements, which directed

ev'n from thy mouth to me.

verse 14 I of thy Teſtimonies have

rejoiced in the way,

As much as in the riches all

that men in treaſures lay.

verse 15 I'le in thy precepts meditate

and all thy ways reſpect:

verse 16 Thy ſtatuts ſhall be my delig…

thy word I'le not forget.

GIMEL.

verse 17 Deal bountifully now always

with thy ſervant, O Lord,

…hat I may live, and carefully

keep thy moſt bleſſed word.

verse 18 My darkned eyes now open thou,

that I well taught by thee

…ay wondrous things out of thy law

behold now with mine eye.

verse 19 I in the earth heer among men

a ſtranger ſtill abide.

…hy moſt worthy commandments all

from me in wrath not hide.

verse 20 My ſoul now for thee longing great

ſtill breaketh with deſire,

Wherewith unto thy judgements it

at all times doth aſpire.

verse 21 The proud men thou rebuked haſt

that curſed are alway,

Which ſtill from thy commandments

do erre and go aſtray.

verse 22 Reproch and als contempt always all

remove thou far from me;

For I thy teſtimonies all

have keept moſt carefully.

verse 23 The Princes did in counſell

againſt me ſpeaking ill:

But thy ſervant did meditate

upon thy ſtatuts ſtill.

verse 24 My hearts delight and pleaſure

thy teſtimonies be;

And they, what ev'r I have to d…

are counſellers to me.

DALETH.

verse 25 My troubled ſoul doth ſurely …

unto the duſt, O Lord;

Now in thy mercy quicken me

according to thy word.

verse 26 I have moſt faithfully declar'd

my ways all what they be,

And thou moſt willing didſt me …

thy ſtatutes teach thou me.

verse 27 Me clearly make to underſtan…

of thy precepts the way,

So ſhall I of thy wondrous work

talk gladly all the day.

verse 28 My troubled ſoul doth melt away

for heavineſſe and grief;

According to thy word to me

give ſtrength for my relief.

verse 29 From me the way of lying far

in mercy great remove,

…nd graciouſly now grant to me

thy law which I do love.

verse 30 For a ſtraight rule I choſen have

of truth the only way,

…hy judgements have I always laid

before me every day.

verse 31 Unto thy teſtimonies I

have ſtuck without all blame:

And now, O LORD, in mercy great

put thou me not to ſhame.

verse 32 The way of thy commandments all

He run, as thou doſt charge,

When thou ſhalt by thy mercy great

my heart at laſt enlarge.

HE.

verse 33 Of thy ſtatuts teach me, O LORD,

the way thou doſt intend;

And I moſt carefull with my heart

ſhall keep it to the end.

verse 34 Give underſtanding unto me,

and I in every part

Shall keep thy law; yea it I ſhall

obſerve with all my heart.

verse 35 Make me now in thy mercy gre…

that in the path aright

Of thy commandments I may go,

for therein I delight.

verse 36 Thy teſtimonies to obey,

and them in life expreſſe,

My heart incline thou ev'ry way,

and not to covetouſneſſe.

verse 37 Now from beholding vanity

turn thou mine eyes away:

And by thy might now quicken me

in thy moſt perfect way.

verse 38 Thy word now ſtabliſh, and ma… ſu…

unto thy ſervant dear,

Who in his whole life truely is

devoted to thy fear.

verse 39 Reproch, which I do greatly fear,

from me now turn away,

Becauſe thy judgemēts of great worth

are very good alway.

verse 40 Behold ſtill I have longed for

the precepts come from thee:

In thy moſt perfect righteouſneſſe,

O Lord, now quicken me.

VAU.

verse 41 Let als thy mercies manifold

come unto me, O Lord,

Even thy ſalvation of great price,

according to thy word.

verse 42 So ſhall I have wherewith to give

an anſwer that is juſt,

To him that ſtill reproacheth me:

for in thy word I truſt.

verse 43 Out of my mouth the word of truth

take thou not utterly;

For in thy judgements all I have

ev'n hoped ſtedfaſtly.

verse 44 So this thy law continually

for ever keep I ſhall:

verse 45 At liberty I'le walk, for I

do ſeek thy precepts all.

verse 46 I of thy teſtimonies will

ſpeak with great libertie

Before great Kings, and I therefore

will not aſhamed be.

verse 47 I will in thy commandments all

Which I have ſtill moſt dearly lov'd

my ſelf alwayes delight.

verse 48 My hands to thy commandme… no…

ZAIN.

verse 49 Remember wel thy word thou did

unto thy ſervant ſay,

Upon which thou haſt cauſed me

to hope and truſt alway.

verse 50 This in my great affliction now

my comfort is I ſee:

For thy good word the word of life

hath ſurely quickned me.

verse 51 Right greatly in deriſion ſtill

men that are proud in minde

Have had me; yet have I not from

thy law at all declinde.

verse 52 Thy judgemēts given of old, O Lord'

moſt carefully did I

Remember, and likewiſe my ſelf

comforted have thereby.

verse 53 A fearfull horrour me upon

anone great hold did take,

Becauſe of wicked men that ſtill

thy holy law forſake.

verse 54 The ſtatutes which in favour great

thou haſt given us among,

In the houſe of my pilgrimage

have been my dayly ſong.

verse 55 Thy Name by night Lord I did mind,

and thy law keeped have:

verse 56 This had I, becauſe I did keep

thy precepts that thou gave.

CHETH.

verse 57 On earth below alone thou art

my portion, O my LORD,

I have ſaid, and reſolved als,

that I will keep thy word.

verse 58 With my whole heart thy favo…

According to thy bleſſed word,

be mercifull to me.

verse 59 I on my ways thought, and my …

verse 60 To keep thy precepts I made lu…

verse 61 The cruell bands of wicked me…

which did againſt me plot,

Have robbed me; but ſurely I

have not thy law forgot.

verse 62 At midnight I will ſtill ariſe

Becauſe of thoſe thy judgements a…

that always righteous be.

verse 63 I am a faſt companion of

all them that do thee fear,

And of all them that with their he…

verse 64 The earth, O LORD, even always is

full of thy mercy ſtill,

Now teach me well how that I may

thy ſtatutes all fulfill.

TETH.

verse 65 Thou well and lovingly haſt dealt

with thy ſervant, O LORD,

According to thy promiſes

contained in thy word.

verse 66 Good judgement now and knowledge als

me teach in ev'ry part:

For I have thy commandments all

believ'd with all my heart.

verse 67 I ere afflicted went aſtray,

but now have kept thy word:

verse 68 Thou art good, and doſt good alſo,

thy ſtatutes teach me LORD.

verse 69 The proud a great lie forged have

againſt me for my ſmart:

But I thy divine precepts all

will keep with all my heart.

verse 70 Their heart is fat as greaſe, but I

do in thy law delight:

verse 71 It's good that I afflicted was

that thy words learn I might.

verse 72 The law of thy moſt holy mouth

is better unto me

Then of fine gold and ſilver als

the many thouſands be.

IOD.

verse 73 Thy hands me faſhion'd have, … ma…

me underſtanding give,

That I may thy commandments all

learne as long as I live.

verse 74 They that thee fear when they …

will be with one accord

Right glad ſurely, becauſe that I

have hoped in thy word.

verse 75 That thy judgements are juſt & …

I know it LORD to be.

And that thou in great faithfulneſſe

haſt thus afflicted me.

verse 76 Now let thy kindneſſe mercifull

me comfort I thee pray,

According to thy bleſſed word,

to thy ſervant alway.

verse 77 Let now thy tender mercies come

to me that in thy ſight

I may here live: for now thy law

is only my delight:

verse 78 Let all the proud aſhamed be,

who me without a cauſe

Perverſly wrong'd; but meditat

I will ſtill in thy laws.

verse 79 Let thoſe that fear thee quickly turn

unto me with their heart,

And thoſe that have thy teſtimonies

well known in any part.

verse 80 Let ſtill my heart be ever ſound

in ſtatutes given by thee,

That ſo in all my troubles great

I not aſhamed be.

CAPH.

verse 81 My ſoul for thy ſalvation faints,

I hope in words from thee,

Am all become; yet do I not

thy ſtatutes now forget.

verse 84 How many are thy ſervants day

Judgements on them to execute

verse 87 They had almoſt in furie great

verse 2 It's vain for you early to riſe,

to ſit up late, and bread

Of ſorrows eat, to his belov'd

verse 3 Loe children are an heritage,

which GOD with great regard

Gives unto men; and of the womb

the fruit is his reward.

verse 4 As arrows in the hands of him

So children of the youth always

unto their parents be.

verse 5 Who hath his quiver full of them

is in a happy ſtate:

They not aſham'd, ſhall boldly ſpeak

with th'enmies in the gate.
