A Prayer to be ſaid before meat.
BLeſſe vsus gude Lorde, and theſe thy creatures whilk of thy gudeneſſe thou giueſt vsus, for the nouriſhment of this our naturall life, and giuegive vsus grace to vſe them reuerently, and ſoberly, with a gude conſcience in thy feare, to thy glory, & our comforts. Sa that whether wee eate or drinke, or whatſoeuer we doe, we doe all to the glory of God, through Ieſus Chriſt our Lord, and onelyonly Sauiour, Amen.
A thankſ-giuing after meate.
VVE praiſe thy holye name, O heauenly Father, for al thy gracious benefites ſpirituall and corporall, beſtowed vppon vsus to this houre: namely, for the long libertie of the true preaching of the goſpel (wherof alace, we hauehave béene moſt vnworthy) as alſo, we prayſe thy heauenlye Maieſtie for this preſent benefite of foode and gladneſſe, wherewith now thou haſte filled our hearts: giuegive vsus grace that ſo long as wée may walke in the ſtrength of this meate & drink, that we be euer reddy to gloryfie thy holy name, in thought, word, & déede, by true faith and repentance. Lorde bleſſe thy Kirk, the King, Queene, & Prince, with the reſt of their Maieſties children, and giuegive all the gude ſubiects of this Realme, and earneſt care to pray hartely for their preſernation, in ſoule & bodie, and for their long, happy, and proſperous gouernement, in thy feare ouer this poore Realme: that wee may leade a quiet and peaceable life vnderunder them, in all godlineſſe and honeſty, without al change or alteration, of the preſent true Religion, and miniſterie of the the goſpell, through Ieſus Chriſt our Lorde, Amen.
THE TEN COMMANDEments of Almighty God.

Remember that thou kéepe haly the Sabboth day: ſex dayes ſall thou labour and do al that thou haſt to do, but the ſeauenth day is the Sabboth of the Lord thy God: in it thou ſal do na na maner of wark, thou, nor thy ſon, nor thy daughter, thy māſeruant, nor thy maidſeruant, thy cattell, nor the ſtrāger that is within thy gates. For in ſex dayes the Lord made heauen & earth, the ſea, and all that in them is, and reſted the ſeauenth day. Wherefore the Lord bleſſed the ſeauenth day and hallowed it.

Our ſins Lord, if thou mark ſtraitly
Lord, then wha can indure:
For free forgiueneſſe is with thee,
thy worſhip to procure.
Wherefore I wait vponupon the Lorde,
my verry ſaule doth wait:
Yea my haill hope is in his word,
as ſtay in all my ſtrait.
My ſaule does to the Lord aſpire,
mair earneſtly then they:
That watching all the night deſire,

Let Iſrael Gods people, thus,
wait ſtill the Lord vponupon:
For with the Lord much merciemercy is,
and great redemption.
Wha will redeeme true Iſrael,
that wayteth on his will:
Frō al their ſins both great & ſmal,
and ſaue them from all ill.
