PSALME CXLVII.

PRaiſe ye the Lord, for it is good

praiſe to our GOD to ſing:

…r it is pleaſant, and alſo

praiſe is a comely thing.

The Lord his own Jeruſalem

builds up with beauty rare,

…nd Iſraels outcaſts all by him

together gathred are.

He heals thoſe of a broken heart,

their wounds he bindeth all:

He tells the number of the ſtars,

and by their names doth call.

Great is our Lord in all his works,

and of great power is he:

…s underſtanding we perceive

even infinit to be.

The LORD in mercy lifteth up

the meek with great renown:

…t to the ground the wicked man

he fiercely caſteth down.

With thankſgiving unto the Lord

… ſing now moſt chearfullie;

Sing praiſes on the pleaſant harp

unto our GOD moſt hie.

verse 8 Who cov'reth all the heaven with clouds,

who for the earth below

Prepareth rain, who makes the graſſe

upon the mountains grow.

verse 9 Unto the beaſt his dayly food

he giveth by and by:

And alſo to young tender ravens

which in their hunger cry.

verse 10 Into the ſtrength of any horſe

he hath not his delight:

He takes no pleaſure in the legs

of man of greateſt might.

verse 11 The LORD doth take his pleaſure great

in them that do him fear,

In thoſe that in their greateſt ſtrait

hope in his mercy heer.

verse 12 O praiſe the LORD Jeruſalem

both with thy heart and voice:

O Zion, als now ſee that thou

to praiſe thy GOD rejoice.

For of thy mighty gates the bars

well ſtrengthned all hath he:

… in his mercy great hath bleſt

thy children all in thee.

He in thy borders round about

makes peace, and for thy meat

… doth thee fill aboundantly

with fineſt of the wheat.

He his commandment on the earth

foorth ſendeth ever ſtill:

… word alſo moſt ſwiftly doth

…un to performe his will

…e likewiſe ſnow like whiteſt wooll

gives from the bluſtring air;

… hoar-froſt he doth ſcatter ſmall

like aſhes heer and there,

He alſo foorth doth caſt his yee

like morſels, who ſo bold,

…ile withdraweth far his heat,

can ſtand before his cold?

He ſendeth out his word, & makes

them for to melt and thowe,

His wind to blow he cauſeth als,

and then the waters flowe.

verse 19 To Jacob ſtill his ſervant dear

his word he ſhews each where:

His ſtatutes and his judgements he

to Iſra'l doth declare.

verse 20 He not with any nation once

to deal ſo did accord,

As for his judgements they them not

have known; praiſe ye the LORD.

PSAL. CXLVIII.

PRaiſe ye the Lord: ev'n frō the heaven

praiſe ye the Lord of love:

Praiſe him alſo moſt chearfullie

in all the hights above.

verse 2 Praiſe him ye glorious Angels all,

praiſe him his Hoaſts of might:

verse 3 Praiſe ye him Sun and Moon alſo,

praiſe him all ſtars of light.

verse 4 Ye heav'ns of heav'ns all praiſe ye him

moſt worthy of our love,

…nd ſtill ye waters do the ſame

that be the heav'ns above.

Let them all praiſe and magnifie

the great Name of the LORD:

the commanded, and they were

created by his word.

…or ever and for ever them

well ſtabliſhed hath he,

…d which faſt fixed ſhall not paſſe,

he hath made a decree.

Ye dragons great, and alſo deeps

praiſe from the earth the LORD;

…i…e, hail, ſnow, vapour, ſtormy wind

fulfilling ſtill his word.

…ls, mountaines all, & fruitfull trees;

and cedars tall that be;

Beaſts, cattel & all creeping things,

and alſo fowls that flie.

Kings of the earth and people als,

Princes and Judges all:

Both young men & ye little maids,

old men, and children ſmall.

verse 13 Let them the Lords name praiſe, for his

Name's excellent alone

Above the earth and heaven alſo

his glorie high is gone.

verse 14 He alſo of his people dear

the horn exalteth hie,

The worthy and excellent praiſe

of all his ſaints that be:

Even of the children great and ſmall

that Iſrael did afford,

A people alwayes neer to him:

praiſe ye the mighty LORD.

PSAL. CXLIX.

PRaiſe ye the Lord: Sing to the Lord

a new and pleaſant ſong,

And in the congregation great

praiſe him his Saints among.

verse 2 Let Iſrael in his Maker ſtill

rejoice, and alſo ſing:

Let all that Zions children are

be joyfull in their King.

Let them all chearfull in the dance,

praiſe his name who's our King:

… them with timbrell & with harp

unto him praiſes ſing.

For the LORD taketh pleaſure in

his people, as we ſee:

…e meek with his ſalvation ſtill

he will all beautifie.

Let all the Saints in glory be

moſt ioyfull in their heart,

… them all chearfull ſing aloud

upon their beds apart.

Of GOD let the high praiſes be

in their mouth through the land:

…d a two edged ſword moſt ſharp

ſtill ready in their hand.

…o execute vengeance ſevere

upon the heathen all,

…nd als to make great puniſhments

upon the people fall.

With chains ſo ſtrong their mightie kings

to bind moſt ſure at laſt,

And als the Nobles of their land,

with yrons fetters faſt.

verse 9 On them the iudgement t'execute

that's written in his word,

This honour high have all his Saints:

praiſe ye therefore the LORD.

PSAL. CL.

PRaiſe ye the Lord, praiſe God now in

his Sanctuarie bright:

Praiſe him als in the firmament

of his great power and might.

verse 2 Praiſe ye him for his mighty acts,

yea praiſe him heartilie,

According to his greatneſſe which

moſt excellent we ſee.

verse 3 With the moſt pleaſant Trumpets ſound

praiſe ye him chearfully,

Praiſe ye him alſo with the Harp

and with the Pſaltery.

verse 4 With Timbrel & with dance always

praiſe ye his holy Name:

With ſtringed inſtruments him praiſe;

with Organs do the ſame,

Upon the Cymbals that are loud

his praiſe make to rebound:

…aiſe him on Cymbals ſweet, that have

a high and loftie ſound.

Let ev'ry thing that here hath breath

now praiſe always afford

…nto the LORD of all the earth:

praiſe ye the living LORD.

FINIS.
