The True News of the Good New World Shortly to Come, Conclusion
HEnce two of his Majeſties very conſiderable Queſtions may ſtrongly be reſolved; namely, 1. That the Roman Monarchy, viz. the Feet and Toes thereof in the two-fold Beaſt [the Papacy] will end about 20 years hence, at Chriſts Appearance, &c. And,
2. That it appears from Daniels Numbers; That at the end of his 70 Weeks, ch. 9. the Kingdom of the Stone begins, about Chriſts Aſcention, (when he Triumphed Spiritually) to continue 1666. years to the ſame period, with the ſaid 2300. Dan. 8. and with divers others ſaid Numbers, when Chriſts viſible and glorious Triumph will be in the world over all his great Enemies therein by making them his footſtool.
To the third material Queſtion we ſhall add, That all the time from Chriſts firſt comeing to his ſecond, is ſet forth by the laſt times in ſacred Scripture, not only as was then ſaid in reference to that uſual expreſion in the Old Teſtament באחרית-הימים in the latter, or poſtremity of days; as Jacobs applying it to Shiloe's coming, Gen 49. & Jeremies to the Jews Converſion at his ſecond comeing; c. 30. ult. and ſo often alſo to many things in the interim betwixt both: and the like is obſervable of Daniels בעת קצ in the time of the end, which is the ſame with the times of the Goſpel, as Dan. 11.36, 37, 38, 39, 40. and Dan. 12.4, 9. which times Chriſt in the Revelation divides into theſe three of the Dragon or Heathen Emperours. 2. Of the two-fold Beaſt or Papacy; and 3. Of his own Kingdom in the World the 1000 years, &c.
