Wherefore there remaineth to be diſtributed to the ſervice of the ſaid Churches the ſumm of one hundred and ſixty thouſand, two hundred and ſixty Livers, which were divided in manner following.

What cometh into the Provinces of the Iſle of France, Berry, Normandy, Anjou, Poictou, Lower Guyenne, Higher Languedoc, taking in the Univerſities within the ſaid Provinces, ſhall be paid in to ſuch Commiſſioners as ſhall be hereafter named.

And for the Iſle of France the payment ſhall be made at Paris, for Normandy at Rouan, for Berry at Orleans, for Poictou at Poictiers, for the Lower Guyenne at Bourdeaux, for the Higher Languedoc at Montauban, for Anjou at Tours.

For the Lower Languedoc, Sevennes, Provence, Brittany and Xaintonge.

The firſt payment ſhall be before the laſt day of July.

The ſecond before the laſt of this next October.

And the third before the laſt of February, ſixteen hundred and thirteen.

To wit, for Provence, Lower Languedoc and Vivaretz in the City of Montpellier.

For Brittany at Nants.

For Xaintonge at the City of Rochel.

And for the Provinces of Burgundy, Dolphiny and Vivaretz to the Commiſſioners which are or ſhall be named by the ſaid Province, at the City of Lions.

To wit, the two firſt payments at the Fairs in Auguſt and All-hallontide, of this preſent year, and the third at the Fair of the three Kings, in the year 1613.

And the above-mentioned Provinces ſhall be obliged to appoint in each of thoſe before named Towns; one certain houſe unto which the Lord du Candal may come, and make payment of thoſe Moneys. And the ſaid Lord du Candal ſhall pay in quarterly unto the ſaid Churches whatſoever he can actually recover of that Quarter unto each of the Provinces equally, (they concurring to the abatement of a Sous in the Liver,) within the fifteenth of Auguſt of the year 1613. at the places, and unto the perſons named by the ſaid Provinces. And touching the overplus which remaineth to be recovered after the fifteenth of Auguſt in the year 1613, he ſhall give in his notes in writing unto every particular Province, who ſhall come and take them according to the Accompt and Dividend, which ſhall be made by our General Deputies at Court. Of all which ſumms thus actually payed down by the ſaid Lord of Candal he ſhall take and keep unto himſelf a Sous in the Liver, which was freely granted him, excepting for the Univerſities, from whom he may detain only four Deniers, a farthing in the Liver, which in truth is not his, but the right and due of the Lord de Viſouze.

And as for theſe Reſcriptions of the laſt Quarter, he ſhall only take three Deniers; and the whole ſhall be managed and diſpatched in a full and exact conformity to that agreement paſt between him and the Deputies of our Churches at the National Synod of Gap, and the Regulations made in the following years.

Moreover the ſaid Lord du Candal is required not to divert unto any other uſes the Moneys of our Churches and Univerſities, whatever orders he may receive from other hands, without an expreſs order from a National Synod; otherwiſe it ſhall not be allowed him in the yielding up of his Accompts.
