Courteous Reader,
THis Diſcourſe being deſigned as an Appendix to Solomon's Preſcription, ought indeed to be joyned with it (as many of them are) the ſenſe hereof in the beginning having a dependance upon, and connection with the concluſion of that: But yet for the eaſe of thoſe who had bought of the former (whereof ſome have been heretofore diſperſt) I was willing to Print ſome of theſe ſingle. And this Advertiſement was thought fit to be given, partly that none might wonder at the …bſence of a Prefatory Epistle, but chiefly to take off from the ſeeming abruptneſs of the beginning, and of ſome other paſſages herein, which have a reference to that fore-mentioned Treatiſe, as they who have it in their hands may eaſily diſcern.
