CHAP. I. ADmiral; the Etymon or true Original of the word; with the various Appellations thereof.
CHAP. II. The Original of Navigation, and the Sea-Laws; with the Antiquity of the Office of high Admiral in the Tranſmarine or Forraign parts of the world.
CHAP. III. The Antiquity of the Maritime Authority, together with the Office and Juriſdiction of the Admiralty within this Kingdome of Great Brittain.
CHAP. IV. Of Perſons Maritime; As alſo, of ſuch Things as are properly Cognizable within the Jurisdiction of the Admiralty of England; And in what method it proceeds to Judgement.
CHAP. V. Of Laws and Juriſdictions in general; with the ſeveral kinds and degrees thereof.
CHAP. VI. Of Prohibitions; Their ſeveral kinds, Cauſes and Effects in the Law.
