PSAL. CII,
HEar my prayer, O Lord: and let my cry come unto thee.
2 Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble,
O Lord my prayer do thou hear, let my cry come to thee:
2 In day when I in trouble am, hide not thy face from me.
Encline thi…e ear unto me in the day when I call, answer me speedily.
3 For my dayes are consumed like smoak: and my bones are burnt as an hearth.
Give ear to me; what day I call, with speed me answer make,
3 For as an hearth my bones are burnt my dayes consume like smoak.
4 My heart is smitten, and withered like grasse: so that I forget to …at my bread.

6 Like Pelican in wildernesse like owl I'm desert in.

And they that are against me mad against me sworn they be.
9 For I have eaten ashes like bread: and mingled my drink with weeping.
9 For I the ashes eaten have as if they had been bread;
And with my weeping in my drink I have a mingling made
