6 Thou coveredst it with the deeps, as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

5 As with a garment with the deep then thou it all didst cover,

Above the mountains every one the waters they stood over.

7 At thy rebuke they fled: at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

7 While as by thee they were rebuk'd they fled without delay,

And at thy thunders fearfull voice they hasted all away.

8 They goe up by the mountains: they goe down by the valleys, unto the place which thou hast founded for them.

8 They by the mountains do go up; they by the valley ground

Go down into the very place, which thou for them didst found.

9 Thou hast set a bound that they may not passe over: that they turn not again to cover the earth.

9 Thou hast a bound set so, that they may not the same passe over,

That hence forth they turn not again the earth all for to cover.

10 He sendeth the springs into the valeys which run among the hils.

11 They drink give to each beast of field, wild asses quench their thirst.

12 By them shall the fowles of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

12 The fouls that are of heaven there shall have by them along

Their pleasant habitation, which branches sing among.

Of Lebanon the cedars which he planted with his hand.

17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the firre trees are her house,

17 Where make their nests wherein to sit the birds melodious,

As for the stork, the firre-trees are appointed for her house.

18 The high hils are a refuge for the wilde goats, and the rocks for the conies.

19 He appointed the moon for seasons; the sun knoweth his going down.

18 Wild goats high hills have for refuge, for conies rocks are so:

19 The moon for seasons he appoints, the sun his fall doth know.

20 Thou makest darknesse, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest doe creep forth.

21 The young lions roar after their prey: and seek their meat from God.

20 Thou darknesse mak'st, it's night, when beasts of forrests creep abroad:

21 The lions young roar for their prey, and seek their meat from God.

22 The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

23 Man goeth forth unto his work, and to his labour untill the evening.

22 The sun doth rise, they gathred are, and down ly in their den:

23 Man to his work, and labour als goes forth untill the Ev'n.

24 O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdome hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

24 How manifold Lord are thy works? in wisdome wonderfull

Thou evry one of them hast made, earth's of thy richesse full.

25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

25 So is this sea that's great and wide, wherein things creeping all

For multitude are numberlesse, and beasts both great and small.

26 There go the ships , there is that Leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.

27 These wait all upon thee that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

26 There go the ships; thou madst therein that Leviath an play:

27 Those on thee wait all, that their meat in due time get they may.

28 That thou givest them they gather thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

28 That which thou givest unto them they gather for their food▪

Thy hand thou doest open thu…, and they are fill'd with good.

29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled, thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

29 Thou hidst thy face they troubled are, thou takst their breath away:

They die, and after to their dust return again do they.

30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renuest the face of the earth.

30 Thou thine own spirit sendest forth, they are created now▪

And thou the face of all the earth dost after that renew.

31 The glory of the Lord shall endure for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in his works.

31 The glory of the mighty Lord it shall endure for ever,

The Lord himself he shall rejoice in all his works together.

32 He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth▪ he toucheth the hils, and they smoak.

32 The earth below doth tremble all when he on it doth look,

The mountains also he doth touch, and they together smoak.

33 I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live▪ I will sing praise to my God, while I have my being.

33 As long I to the Lord will sing as I shall life receive,

Unto my God sing praise I will while I my being have.

34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord.

34 Of him my meditation shall sweet be unto me,

Yea in himself that is the Lord I very glade will be.

35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more▪ blesse thou the Lord, O my soul, Praise ye the Lord.
